STUDIO RULES

Rules of the Studio

Here at Elysium Studio we strive to provide a clean, comfortable and creative space for our clients. To keep the studio in top shape we have a few rules and terms we ask that everyone who rents with us follow.

  • You will be allowed admittance to the studio no earlier than 5 min prior to your appointment if there isn't an appointment ahead of yours. If you arrive any earlier and want to get into the studio earlier than the 5 min prior you will be charged for a full extra hour even if it's only a partial hour earlier.
    • Should you go over your scheduled time by more than 5 min for any reason you will be charged an additional hour at the current additional hour charge.
  • Please leave the studio in the same condition you find it. The studio will be provided to you cleaned and ready for your use. If it is not left in the same condition a cleaning fee may be assessed.
  • Anything checked out of the prop/equipment room during your appointment needs to be left on the return table as part of your cleanup before leaving.
  • Studio renters will be liable for any damage, loss or theft of studio equipment. Repair and/or replacement of items must be arranged within 3 days.
  • The studio rental includes the use of most props and sets in the studio. A few items require an extra fee due to their consumable nature. Our complete list of fees is listed to the right.
  • The studio's bath towels will no longer be complimentary, if you do not bring your own we will charge per towel.
  • Any messy shoots (glitter, flour, liquids, etc.) are NOT permitted without prior approval. Please contact us about these types of shoots prior to booking.
  • We do not allow the use of drugs, alcohol or any illegal substances on the premises.
  • While we are open to your use of the studio in creating art in all its various forms, the filming or photographing of pornographic materials is not permitted.

    2-3 Hours $42

  • Additional hours added day of - $42

Production / Lighting Assistant {$100 per shoot}
  • We are always available for little assists or help but if you require an on set production assistant for the duuration of the shoot we offer our services to be available. This is only for on set assists and does not include running errands off site. If you are unfamiliar with the AlienBee lighting system or Studio Lighting in general and need an assistant to setup and control the lights we can be available on set for the duration of your shoot as well.
Studio Cleaning Fee {$100}
  • We strive to provide you a clean and organized studio space. This cleaning fee is applicable to any & all messy shoots or if the studio is not left in the same condition it was provided to you after your session.

STUDIO EXTRAS

Clawfoot Tub {per session}
  • $40 filled | $20 dry This fee is for maintenance and cleaning of the tub and only applies once per session.
    • PLEASE NOTE: If you are planning a shoot and want to fill the tub it takes about 20 min to fill. If you want to fill it multiple times in the same session it also takes aprox 20-30 to drain before it can be re-filled. Please plan accordingly for time.
Seamless Paper {$30 per pull}
  • Seamless paper is priced per pull because you get a clean/fresh pull each time. When a shoot is over we cut off the dirty "floor" so the next use is clean. We stock white & black seamless paper in the studio and sometimes have other colors. Contact us if you have a specific color is need before booking.
Fog Machine {$15 per session}
  • Our fog machine is available for use during your studio time. The fee for the fog machine is to cover the fog juice. If you are using the chiller you will need to provide your own bags of ice or dry ice.
Bed Clothes (Laundry) {$25 per fresh sheets/pillow cases}
  • If you want to use the bed set and bring your own bed clothes there is no charge. If you use our bed clothes we add an additional $25 for each set of fresh bed clothes you use. This covers the laundry and cleaning of the sheets and such.
Camera Equipment Rentals {Varies per item}
  • We have a couple of basic crop sensor and 1 full frame sensor camera bodies and some entry level and mid range lenses. We are always looking to add to our available equipment so for the most up to date list of available items please click here.
