LONG ANSWER SUMMARY

Items already we have:

• Colored lights / gels - We don't have colored lights but we do have Gels that are stored in the office and can be checked out, they are included with your rental.
• Softbox grids - These are stored in the office and can be checked out, they are included with your rental. The only softbox we dont have a grid for is the 68" Octobox.
• Different fireplace walls - The tops of the fireplace walls can be swapped out. This takes our staff about 15 min to do.
• More interchangeable options - We realized with the survey that all the options were not widely known. We are working on signing the studio and updating the website..
• Nikon friendly pocket wizards - All of the PocketWizards in studio are universal so long as your camera has a hot shoe or you have the adapter cable.
• 9’ high paper - While we don't have the paper permanently mounted our paper stand can go up to 10' tall.

Items we have implemented already or are currently working on:

• Bed - This was by far the most requested new feature. We have already added a queen size bed to set #3.
• Skylight blacked out - In October we changed out the fabric blocking the skylights. It is now heavier and blocks out almost all light.
• Ability to shut down different overhead lights - Just last week our electrician came in and removed a section of lights and split the remaining ones between 2 light switches.
• More Floors - While we still plan on buying more at some point we just recently added 5 new floor options.
• Larger Green Screen - When we repainted Set #2 we made the green screen a little wider and taller. We also added a green vinyl floor option.
• Brick Wall - This one is still in the works but should be ready for shooting in the next few weeks.

Items to look at in the future:

• Venetian blinds - This was a popular request and we did have some until they broke. We will look into finding a way to bring this back.
• Faux outdoor
• This request came in different varieties such as: Trees, Vined Hedge, Arches & a Flower wall. We will look into these options as part of a way to add smaller accent props (see the next item on the list)
• Smaller Accent props / Furniture to create full rooms
• We had multiple requests for this in similar ways. End tables, Small tables, Lamps, Simple options - wooden stools / pain chairs, More Carpets,Table and chair,Simple chairs. While adding too much furniture will cause the studio to become overcrowded we will look into ways to bring some of these options over the next year.
• New wall - Due to space adding a new wall means making something portable or sacrificing one of the existing sets. We will take the suggestions below into account but we don't know how to add one of these just yet.
• Industrial
• Chain metal fence
• Stone Wall
• Stone/Castle wall
• Red Textured wall
• Flower wall
• Faux wall with window / simulate daylight
• Canvas Backdrops - We did add some simple backgrounds to set #4 already but we will look at adding more in the future if they get used or requested enough.
• Dry ice fog machine - We had one that wasn't used very often before it broke. Is this something you'd like to see come back?
• More feminine options - We had some softer options when we opened but they weren't used very much. If this is something that becomes popular we will definitely add more in the future.
• Curtains, boudoir . hollywood glam
• Pinup / vintage / boudoir
• Softer, more whimsical
• Cemetery Set - We will keep this in mind as we thing about next years Halloween addition.
• More seating during groups - With some of our office redesign we have more basic seating we can pull out for groups.
• Monthly themed set - We do have our holiday themes we setup but monthly may be difficult. We will keep this in mind while planning though.

This are items we are sure how to address but we will keep them on our list of ideas just in case.

• Valentine heart back chair
• Neon
• Video projectors
• Add a corner to the black wall
• Floors that are complementary colors to the walls

Website ideas:

• Links to MUA and Photographers - We are working on a recommendations list now. We don't know how we are going to implement it just yet but it is coming.
• Online closet to browse wardrobe - While we would love to do this it would be very difficult since we don't have everything here in studio and we are swapping out items monthly. Our best recommendation for this is to follow Wonderland Corsets on Instagram and then message us pictures if there is something you want to use specifically.
• Group discount rates - We aren't sure if this was intended to be group discounts for groups of photographers or groups of hours at a discount. Either way we are one of the lowest priced studios with some of the most to offer included in the price. Right now we offer Weekday discount pricing and we don't charge for extra for groups like some studios do.

Items we can't do::

• Free costume rentals - All wardrobe in the studio is property of Wonderland Corsets. We have a business deal with them to rent it exclusively in the studio. Because of this we can never offer free wardrobe as it does not belong to us. There is also the upkeep and wear & tear on all the items to consider.
• Set changes: - We received a few comments that were very similar when it came to our sets and we will address each below.
• Change it all, it's been over photographed - Many photographers would like unique sets that are only photographed a few times before being torn down and rebuilt. The process of tearing down a set and building something fresh is expensive and it isn't cost effective to rebuild sets that often.
• Time for new sets - Similar to the above comment. We have to consider costs when planning sets. This is why we built in options into many sets so that they can be slightly altered to make them look different without having to do teardowns.
• Too many textured walls - This is something that is not likely to change in the near future. As you can see from the voting above the textured walls are both in the top 3 sets.
• Larger studio - Unfortunately we are limited to the space on hand unless we move locations. Currently this isn't an option. Perhaps in the future we will be able to add a second studio at our current location.
• Bathtub to look like a real bathroom - With the addition of the queen size bed we will have to keep set #3 as a dual purpose set.
• Air Conditioning - This is probably the hardest because it is the most requested. Expanding our AC capacity could mean spending up to $20,000 and that just isnt in the cards. We have added even more fans and we are looking at more cost effective options to help.
• Large shower with running water - This is another high cost item. We did look at adding plumbing to the studio to do something like this and unfortunately the cost estimate was close to $10,000.
• Snow machine - While faux snow would be nice, logistically this would be a nightmare due to cleanup and safety concerns.
• Larger backdrops for 10+ people - Unfortunately adding a set this large would mean sacrificing multiple existing sets. And far more people wanted variety over larger sets.
• Ceiling mounted electrical - The cost on re-wiring the studio makes this option difficult. We did add some more surge strips to make the need for extension cords smaller but you can always use sandbags to cover tripping hazards.
• GoDox equipment - With the investment we already have in AlienBee lights this just isn't in the cards right now. Eventually we will need to look at cycling lighting and we will consider current options at that time.
• Paper permanently mounted - The studio layout does not offer a good versatile place to add the paper mounts. Thus we have a portable paper stand.
